Old home renovation

I am currently turning an old home that had three rental apartments inside it into two larger more spacious homes.  Today I began a penetration in the wall connecting the two lower level apartments as one.  The pictures show the work as it happened. The photo's illustrate two different views.  One being from living room into bedroom and one being from bedroom to living room.  While tearing down the walls I found a header supporting what was once an original opening.  I didn't like the way this header appeared so I reinforced it making sure it supports the changes I am making.  I also found some old postcards postmarked in 1910 with a Benjamin Franklin stamp costing a mere one cent.
